ABOUT ME

     Hi! My name is Kelsey Williams and I am from Kearney, NE. I am a  graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I have a passion for planning and all things organization, so I pursued a Bachelors of Art in Hospitality, Restaurant, & Tourism Management. I also have minors in Business, Leadership Communication & International Studies. (Fun fact: I was a TA for the hardest course I ever took at UNL. I am fortunate my professor saw my drive and hard-work to refer me for the position.)

     I have been fortunate enough to learn from a wide variety of experiences in the past few years. I have been able to learn skills of event coordination, project coordination, marketing, day-of timeline management, large-scale event management, and budget management. 

​

     My favorite hospitality program memory was studying abroad in Dublin and London. In the fall of 2018, I traveled abroad with other UNL Hospitality students and faculty. While studying abroad we were able to attend the EURO Chrie Hospitality Conference and network with industry professionals. 

     In November 2020, I completed my fourth hospitality internship at the Nebraska Water Center & Daugherty Water for Food Institute as an event intern. In my position I assisted with several virtual events for the duration of eight months. (Fun fact: My college program only required three internships, but I managed to receive a fourth internship offer and couldn't pass up the experience.)
